Positions Vacant 3 x Program Managers

First People of the Millewa Mallee Aboriginal Corporation is a traditional owner corporation and aims to advance the aspirations of First People of the Millewa Mallee Traditional Owners by managing their native title and cultural heritage rights and interests.

FPMMAC has three newly created positions available, which will play a pivotal role in assisting the organisation promote, protect and advance the rights, interests and
aspirations of Traditional Owners of the Millewa Mallee and promote, protect and manage Aboriginal Cultural Heritage through a variety of programs and initiatives. The

Program Manager positions will oversee an allocated range of program areas across the broad range of programs including the following programs; River Rangers, Women’s Rangers, Ned’s Corner, Maintenance, Seed, Nursery, Energy, Education Liaison, Aboriginal Water and Wildlife programs, Cultural Fire, Engagement and Treaty.

The positions require a hands-on manager who has a sound understanding of the various program areas and is able to assist manage the numerous on-ground land management tasks across the variety of programs. The position will require strong leadership skills to mentor, develop and empower the teams. Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of various maintenance equipment or program funding requirements and reporting is essential.

The positions will suit someone with strong people skills, who enjoys empowering and driving teams for success and an ability to support the Team Leaders and wider staff to achieve successful program outcomes. The position will require excellent communication and strong stake holder engagement skills. An attractive remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
